There are thousands of books dedicated to digital imaging and digital video. There are hundreds of software packages. There are dozens of scanners and video transfer hardware contraptions. How do we make sense of it all?

We spend our days working with digital imaging and video hardware and software. We also spend a lot of time on the phone with customers who are just learning about computers, digital imaging, and digital video. Hence a big part of what we do is providing a bridge between the technologies and our customers who might not be technology experts. The reviews you find here are written with this in mind

In each of our reviews we give an overall rating of from 1 to 5 stars. 1 star means "stay away", 5 stars means "stellar".
